Raised in a rural Kansas farming community, Kathleen’s journey is a testament to perseverance and determination. She graduated cum laude from Newman University at age 20 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, later earning a second Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities from Northwestern Oklahoma State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. While teaching and advocating for special needs children, she discovered her passion for real estate. Recognizing a gap in homeownership opportunities for individuals with disabilities, she obtained her real estate license and successfully championed grants to make homeownership accessible for them. Her advocacy expanded to supporting single mothers, guiding hundreds of women through the home-buying process and earning media attention for her transformative work.
Beyond real estate, Kathleen has achieved self-made financial freedom with a personal investment portfolio exceeding $12 million, enabling her to pursue her passion for making a difference. She joined Abundance Studios as an Executive Producer of Award-Winning Documentaries, contributing to projects such as the documentary Brisa, which chronicles Brisa De Angulo Losada’s fight and victory in changing laws to secure justice for survivors of sexual abuse against girls and adolescents (Brisa De Angulo Losada vs Bolivia). For her work on Brisa, she received her first EXPY Award in Media & Communication. She also co-produced Getting Everything You CAN Out of All You’ve Got—The Jay Abraham Story, a video biography of business strategist Jay Abraham. A best-selling author, Kathleen co-authored Real Estate GameChangers, Empathy and Understanding in Business with Chris Voss, and The Golden Rules of Success with Jay Abraham, earning a Quilly Award for all three books. In 2025, she became a Certified Team Member/Coach with Maxwell Leadership, further solidifying her commitment to mentorship and life coaching.
Kathleen’s humanitarian efforts are deeply personal, fueled by the tragic murder of her sister in an act of domestic violence. She uses her platform to raise awareness about domestic abuse and sex trafficking, sponsoring a thriving school for girls in the Philippines and supporting vulnerable communities worldwide. In January 2025, she participated in filming at the City of Refuge in Atlanta, a documentary highlighting resources for those facing poverty, homelessness, and systemic challenges. In May 2025, she will contribute to Aerial Recovery, a project training Humanitarian Special Operators to respond to disasters and combat sex trafficking. Recently she was awarded the role of Board Member on the Board of Directors for Warriors for Freedom. Her dedication to military families stems from her own experience relocating to Oklahoma in 2003 with her husband, an Air Force officer, driving her to assist military clients and their families with time sensitive transitions.
With a belief that people want better lives but often lack the tools to achieve them, Kathleen plans to transition into consulting and life coaching. Certified as a Relocation and New Construction Specialist and a member of Women-Owned Small Business, she aims to help individuals identify their “why,” raise their standards, and build financially secure, fulfilling futures. Through coaching, she intends to change the world one person and leader at a time. Kathleen continues to perform random acts of kindness, creating meaningful change while leaving a legacy of advocacy, leadership, and empowerment.
