Shaun Capps is the founder and trial attorney of Shaun Capps Injury Law and serves as Of Counsel with Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, a national firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a best-selling co-author with world-renowned negotiator Chris Voss of Empathy and Understanding in Business and a Producer of the Broadway-exclusive production Negotiating Life, also featuring Voss.
A rising voice in ethical negotiation strategy, Shaun speaks at national conferences, legal summits, and business leadership events across the United States. His media presence spans ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Amazon Prime, and Times Square Today, where he is frequently interviewed for his insights on negotiation, faith in the workplace, and modern legal issues. His storytelling approach has made him a trusted voice for audiences seeking clarity and practical wisdom.

Shaun serves as President of the Christian Legal Society Birmingham Chapter, where he leads free legal aid clinics and provides continuing education events for local attorneys. Deeply committed to public service, he volunteers and provides pro bono work for churches and nonprofit ministries nationwide, ensuring access to justice for individuals and families who would otherwise go unheard.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California, where he teaches Torts and Negotiation and mentors the next generation of lawyers.
When he’s not writing his next book, teaching, or recording his podcast Good News and Gavel, Shaun enjoys traveling with his wife Olya and their children Solomiya, Roman, and Katerina and attending Christian Life Church in Hoover, Alabama.
